IBM
26 innovation made by 26 women
26x26
made while at ogilvy & mather, new york city
my role
I collaborated closely with my Ogilvy copywriter partner throughout the entire project. Alongside developing the strategy, creative concept, research base, tone of voice and look and feel, I led all visual art direction. I designed the website, set the color palette and found the illustrators for both the portrait series and the animated innovation illustrations. I also created the teaser animation and oversaw the full visual execution across every platform.
about
Only 26% of certain tech roles are held by women. We turned that number into a creative opportunity by highlighting 26 brilliant innovations from 26 women at IBM—designed to inspire young women to see themselves in tech.
Each day for 26 days, we released an animation, illustration and piece of copy across IBM’s social channels. IBMblr played a major part too, with a full takeover during International Women’s Day week in March 2015. Every post drove to ibm.com/womenatibm, where people could dive deeper into each inventor’s story and explore career paths connected to the innovations. On day 27, we launched an anthem film bringing all 26 innovations together and inviting women to apply for roles at IBM.
