Love at first sight
This project was an incredible experience for me, and probably the first time I really the importance of the dialogue, communication, honesty and courage to open up and really try to understand the music. Having that connection with the artist, where we bot/all feel respected and seen, makes the collaboration so much more genuine, and it all shows in the end product.
I listened to her new (then unreleased) album and knowing about her background and where she's from is what made the direction of pulling nature into a controlled studio environment for her music to shine together with visuals felt like the visual versions of her songs.

My role
After defining the visual universe for this record, I sourced and put together the perfect team to make this into reality. We were so lucky to have all these talented people on board for this vision, and it would never have become all it became if people didn't truly feel for this project.
