ABOUT
This was one of my first projects at Sony Music and what a pleasure it was. I learned a lot on the way and being able to sparr with someone like Lars, with all his experience, wisdom and style was really meaningful to me. I put together a vision deck containing of strategies, symbolics, video ideas, visions for photography, design and content. We made a lot happen in this project.THE PHOTOS

We worked with the talented Erik Jonsson on the design for this. We wanted to somehow integrate the idea of the circle but also show the different sides and complexity of Lars Vaular and his work. Erik developed several logos that we used as details on the design of the artwork, other marketing assets and merch. The idea was to be able to use them across the project as needed, whatever fitted the vibe and the need the most.design
Process
Lars and I had a great dialogue in the process, I prepared some visual concepts for our first meeting that we used as talking points, then I built them out after we made sure we were on the same page. I find it important to cover all possible grounds, even things I might not be able to impact, in this process I included thoughts about photography, art direction, tone of voice, colors, design, merch, video content, music video ideas, symbols to use through all communication, live show visuals, poster campaign, animated gifs for social media use and much more.Creative Director: Christin Malen Andreassen
